Frequently Asked Questions.

Navigating aged care often raises more questions than answers, especially when it’s all happening quickly. From understanding costs to managing family concerns, the decisions can feel overwhelming. Here are some of the most common questions we’re asked to help bring clarity and confidence to the process.

When should we start planning for aged care?

As early as possible, even before care is needed.

What if care is needed suddenly?

We assist families facing urgent decisions with fast, tailored advice.

Do we need to sell the family home to pay for care?

Not necessarily. There are other options, such as paying a daily fee instead of a lump sum, or renting out the home. We assess all scenarios to find what works best for your financial position.

Can I still receive the Age Pension while in aged care?

Yes, but your eligibility and payment amount may change depending on your income, assets, and aged care fees. We help structure your finances to maximise Centrelink support where possible.
